During summer, it can be hard to stay cool. Sometimes the skin sweats and smells bad. People get oily hair. And of course, people get tan during summer too. It also gives you dark spots and hyperpigmentation. There are many products for these problems in the market right now, like lotion with really strong SPF for sun protection on your skin. But if you use that product all of the time, it might hurt your skin in the long run instead of helping it like you want it to do.
Suntan is not good. You might get it from walking around a city, or if you sit near the beach for a long time. These natural remedies can remove sun tan from your whole body – be it your neck, feet, arms, or hands.
1. Lemon Juice & Honey
You can bleach your skin with lemon juice and honey. Mix one tablespoon of lemon juice and some honey. Put the mixture on your skin and leave it for half an hour. Then wash it off.
Lemon juice can help you get rid of a tan quickly. It has lots of Vitamin C, which is good for removing acne. The citric acid in lemon juice helps to lighten the marks on your skin.

2. Coconut Milk
Coconut milk is good for your skin. It helps to make it nourishing and hydrating again. Coconut milk has vitamin C and acids that help you to remove the tan from your skin.
Soak a cotton ball in fresh, organic coconut milk. Dab it all over your face. Leave it on until the milk has soaked into your skin or dries completely. When it is dried off, clean your face with a mild soap.
3. Lemon Juice, Cucumber & Rose Water
Lemon juice can help you get rid of a tan. But it might not work for everyone. So if you want to try this, use a face pack made with lemon juice. You will need some rose water and some cucumber in one tablespoon of each ingredient in a bowl. Put the face pack on your tanned skin for 10-15 minutes until it is dry. Then wash it off with cold water. Lemon juice helps you get rid of the tan while also making your skin feel better because of the rose water and cucumber in the face pack!
4. Honey and Papaya Face Pack.
The amazing exfoliating and bleaching properties of papaya make it a perfect choice to remove suntan. The honey in this pack helps your skin feel better. To make the pack for removal, mash half a cup of papaya together with one tablespoon of honey. Apply this pack on your skin for about thirty minutes and wash it off with cold water.
5. Saffron and Milk
Saffron is a natural way to get better skin. It can help your skin look better; it treats problems like dark circles, pimples and acne, making your skin lighter.
Soak some saffron in milk for a few minutes. Apply the milk to the affected areas. If you want to provide more moisture to your skin, soak the saffron in cream instead of milk.
6. Tomato Juice & Yogurt
Tomato juice contains citric acid. It helps remove dark spots and pigmentation from the skin while yoghurt moisturizes it. Mix one tablespoon of tomato juice with one tablespoon of yoghurt. Apply the pack to tanned skin for 1/2 an hour before washing it off with cold water.
7. Orange Juice & Yogurt
Orange juice and yoghurt make a good pack for your skin. The citric acid in orange juice will bleach your skin, while vitamin C in yoghurt will help you by removing free radicals. Mix one tablespoon of each of the two things and use it on your sunburnt skin, leaving it there for 30 minutes before washing off.
8. Sandalwood and Turmeric
Sandalwood is a soothing and cooling agent that helps calm the skin. Turmeric has healing properties, and milk can remove tan. Sandalwood powder can be mixed with milk or coconut water to make a pack. You can also add turmeric to the mix to make it more effective at removing tan.
9. Vicks Vaporub
Applying Vicks Vaporub on the tanned areas is a good way to treat sunburns. It moisturizes your skin and reduces inflammation. Leave it for a few hours, then reapply every night for even better results. You can do this as often as you want!
10. Potato Juice
Potato juice is often used to lighten dark circles around the eyes. Apart from being naturally soothing, raw potato juice is also known for being a potent bleaching agent.
Make a raw potato juice and apply it directly onto your skin to get rid of the tan. Alternatively, you can also use thin slices of potatoes on your eyes and face for 10-12 minutes and then wash them off once they dry off.
11. Milk Cream and Strawberries
Strawberries have natural skin-lightening properties. The creamy goodness of milk cream locks in the moisture deep into the skin, making it look plump and healthy.
Please take a few ripe strawberries and mash them well with a fork. Add 2 teaspoons of fresh cream to the mash and whisk until there are no lumps left. Apply this mixture on your face and tanned skin for 15-20 minutes, then wash it off with cold water.
12. Almond Scrub
Almonds are a good source of vitamin E. It does good things to you and your skin, like healing it from sun damage. Almonds can also whiten your skin because they have bleaching properties. To remove tan, create a paste by grinding almonds and rose water. Squeeze some lemon into the almond mixture to make it even better at removing tan.
