Top 9 Facial Exercises For Anti-Aging & Slimming

If your face has been chubby and round, you want to change it so that you have a more sleek and sexy look. There are many exercises to help you do this.

1. Simha Mudra (Lion Pose)

Benefits: Simha Mudra can stimulate all of your facial muscles and is one of the best asanas for the thyroid glands in the neck area.

Procedure: You start by kneeling and putting your hands on your thighs. Drop your jaw and open wide. Stick out your tongue and make a sound like the roar of a lion. Repeat this exercise 2 or 3 times.

2. Jivha Bandha (Locked Tongue Pose)

Benefits: Jivha Bandha tones your facial muscles. It also shapes your jawline and chisels the face.

Procedure: You have to sit in the lotus position if you can. If your hips are too tight or it is hard to do, cross seated is good. Please put your hands on your lap and keep your tongue up against the top of the mouth like you’re trying to swallow it. Open your mouth all the way and feel a stretch in the throat and neck. Repeat this 2 times, then breathe normally through your nose.

3. Jalandhar Bandha (Chin Lock)

Benefits: Jalandhar Bandha helps your face and tones muscles in your face. It is a great exercise for people who have double chins because it can help get rid of them.

Procedure: Sit down in the lotus position. Take deep breaths. Place your hands on your knees and lift your chest towards your chin. Keep going until you reach the point where the sternum locks onto the chin. Then, bend forward a little bit or do it all at once if possible. Hold this position while breathing deeply and then release after a few minutes.

4. Fish Face

Benefits: Fish face tones your cheek muscles and makes them less flabby. It also makes your face sleek.

Procedure: Suck in your cheeks and lips, and make a fish face. Hold the face, then try to smile. You will feel a burning sensation in your cheekbones and jaw. Relax and repeat the exercise to get used to it.

5. Mouthwash Technique

Benefits: The mouthwash technique can make your cheeks look better. It also keeps your double chin away.

Procedure: To do this procedure, fill your mouth with air. Transfer the air from one corner of your mouth to the other like cleaning your teeth with toothpaste. Do this for a few minutes and then relax. Repeat this a couple more times if you would like to.

6. Cheek Uplift

Benefits: Cheek Uplifts are good for your face. They make it look younger. This makes your cheeks smaller and your face tighter.

Procedure: Sit on the chair and smile really wide. Put your fingers on your cheeks. Lift them toward your eyes. Hold for a few seconds, and then relax. Repeat twice, more or more if you want to.

7. Chin Lift

Benefits: Chin lifts will get rid of your double chin and stretch the neck.

Procedure: sit or stand comfortably. Now, tilt your head up towards the ceiling, and your eyes follow the same. Next, tighten your lips and put them forward like you are trying to kiss the ceiling. Hold for a couple of seconds and then release. Repeat this a few times.

8. Neck Roll

Benefits: Rolling your neck is the best way to get rid of a double chin. It will tone your chin, jawline, and neck muscles. In addition, it will tighten the skin on your neck and reduce sagging.

Procedure: Sit down and hold your head up. Turn your head to one side, so it is in line with your chin, and then start to rotate it in a circular motion. Make sure that you keep the rest of your body straight while doing so. After a few minutes, switch the direction of rotation and do them again for a few minutes (or more).

9. Lip Pull

Benefits: Lip Pull will make your face look younger. You can do it at home. It will also make you have high cheekbones and a prominent jawline.

Procedure: Sit or stand up straight and face forward. Stick your tongue out, but not too far out. Push your lower jaw out and feel how it is a stretch in your chin muscles and jawline. Hold for a few seconds, relax, then do it again.
